Rajdhani, Al Karama – Dubai

About:

Rajdhani is a very prominent restaurant that has many branches across India and nominal footprint abroad. It caters to authentic vegetarian Rajhastani & Gujarati cuisine that is rich in flavours and have a wide variety that is served. The food is served on an unlimited Thali (as much as you can eat) basis and they also come up with frequent offers.

It is located in Al Karama near the Ministry Of Interior and are open from 12:00 to 16:00 and 19:00 to 23:30 hours.

Ambience:

A well spaced out and ventilated seating area with bright lights (i dont prefer a very bright ambience) The crockery, cutlery and the table cloths were very clean and so were the waiters, well dressed and hair covered.

Food :

The #Thali menu had a mix of Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisine  and was loaded with a welcome drink that was refreshing, three different starters, #DalBaatiChurma as a specialty dish followed by 4 different types of vegetables, 3 types of daal and khadi, different spread of breads i.e. #Phulka #Poori #PaneerParatha #MatkiRotla served hot with butter or ghee, it was divine. The only thing that was disappointing were the rice preparations, the khrichi had a dominant taste of cloves and the steam rice was not too soft or moist. Now my favourite part, for sweets we were served #JalebiRabdi the jalebis were hot and crispy topped with cold rabdi, then there was yummy #PumpkinHalwa one of the best halwa i have had in a long time and then an authentic Rajasthani sweet called #MalaiGhewar which was not up to expectations because I found it too dry.

Service:

The staff were excellent and played good hosts, they ensured that the guests got what they wanted without being asked for it which I thought was very good as they anticipated the need of the customer. The staff were well dressed in a clean uniform and had disposable gloves while serving.

A very pleasant visit and would definitely visiting more frequently.
